The decision regarding child custody after a separation or divorce depends on various factors, including the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which the family resides. In many cases, the best interests of the child are considered when determining custody arrangements. Typically, if the parents are unable to reach an agreement regarding child custody, the court may intervene and make a decision based on factors such as the child's age, their relationship with each parent, the parents' ability to provide for the child's physical and emotional well-being, and any history of abuse or neglect. In some jurisdictions, older children may have the opportunity to express their preferences or opinions regarding custody arrangements. However, the weight given to a child's preference can vary depending on their age, maturity, and other relevant factors. It is important to consult with a family law attorney who is familiar with the laws and regulations in your specific jurisdiction to get accurate information and guidance regarding child custody matters. They can provide advice based on your unique circumstances and help navigate the legal process.

After Divorce of husband and wife, children can go with any of the parents they want. If they are not being able to take the decision by themselves then further judgement is to be taken from senior judges of Family Court or any other such personality holding a dignity of giving judgement in Family matter case.
