Mediation for Money Recovery Mediation is a voluntary process where a neutral third party (mediator) helps parties negotiate a settlement. It is useful for commercial disputes, loan recoveries, and unpaid invoices. The agreement reached is legally binding if signed by both parties and recorded in court. Governed by the Mediation Act, 2023, and supported by Section 89 of the CPC. 2. Conciliation for Money Recovery Conciliation is similar to mediation but involves a conciliator who plays a more active role in suggesting solutions.
