A person in India can file a cyber crime complaint through both online and offline channels. The process is fairly straightforward. 1. Online complaint (fastest method) You can file a complaint on the official national portal: National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal Steps: 1. Go to the portal 2. Click on: “Report Cyber Crime” 3. Choose category: Women/Child related crime (priority handling), or Other cyber crimes (fraud, hacking, phishing, etc.) 4. Register with your mobile number 5. Fill in details: Incident description Date/time Evidence (screenshots, transaction IDs, emails, chats) 6. Submit the complaint You will receive a complaint/reference number for tracking. 2.
