  • European Union – Consumer Protection Laws: The EU also mandates country-of-origin labeling for certain goods, particularly food, beverages, and products related to health and safety. While not all products are required to display the country of origin, those that fall under the scope of these laws must comply, and online retailers must ensure this information is visible prior to purchase.

What Happens if Platforms Don’t Display Country of Origin?
