Taxpayers can call the Income Tax Department's helpline at 1800 180 1961 to inquire about the status of their refund if they face issues online. They will need to provide their PAN and other relevant details for verification.
If an individual has filed their ITR for the assessment year 2023-24 and is waiting for a refund, they can log into the Income Tax e-Filing Portal, input their PAN and Acknowledgment Number, and check if their refund has been processed.
