केसीसी धारक की मृत्यु होने पर उसका लोन माफ नहीं होता है। यदि कोई व्यक्ति केसीसी धारक होता है और वह अपने लोन का भुगतान नहीं कर पा रहा है तो बैंक या वित्तीय संस्था उसकी मृत्यु के बाद भी उसके वारिसों से लोन के भुगतान की मांग कर सकती हैं। वारिसों को लोन का भुगतान करना होगा वरना उनके वित्तीय स्थिति पर असर पड़ सकता है। लोन के लिए केसीसी धारक ने आमतौर पर एक गारंटर नामित किया होता है। गारंटर या सहायक लोन धारक की मृत्यु के बाद भी लोन भुगतान के लिए जिम्मेदार रहता है। इसलिए, यदि कोई केसीसी धारक लोन लेता है तो उसे इस बात का ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि वह लोन के भुगतान को समय पर करता रहे और उसे समय से पहले नहीं चुकाना चाहिए।
