Section 1 Short title.
This Act may be called the Calcutta High Court (Jurisdictional Limits) Act, 1919.
Section 2 Limits of ordinary original civil jurisdiction.
The ordinary original civil jurisdiction of theHigh Court of Judicature at Fort William in Bengal shall be exercised within the limits set out in theSchedule;
Provided that nothing in this Act shall affect any suit or other legal proceeding pending in any Courtat the date of the commencement of this Act.
