An Additional Sessions Judge shall have and may exercise all the powers of a Sessions Judge under this Chapter in respect of any case which may be transferred to him by or under any general or special order of the Sessions Judge.
This section empowers Additional Sessions Judges to exercise all the powers typically held by Sessions Judges when handling cases that are transferred to them. This ensures continuity and flexibility in the judicial process.
An Additional Sessions Judge has all the powers of a Sessions Judge under this Chapter.
An Additional Sessions Judge can exercise these powers in respect of any case that is transferred to him by or under any general or special order of the Sessions Judge.
- If a Sessions Judge is overloaded with cases, he may transfer a specific case to an Additional Sessions Judge, who will then have the authority to handle that case with all the powers of a Sessions Judge.
Section 441 outlines the authority of Additional Sessions Judges, enabling them to take on the powers of Sessions Judges for cases assigned to them, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the judicial system.
