Yes, in India, a complaint regarding medical negligence can be filed online through various platforms, depending on the nature of the complaint and the forum you choose. Here are the main options: 1. Consumer Forum (Consumer Commissions) You can file a complaint for medical negligence under "deficiency in service" via: Online portal: [https://edaakhil.nic.in](https://edaakhil.nic.in) This is the official portal to file complaints before District, State, or National Consumer Commissions under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Required documents: Complaint details Medical records/reports Proof of payment Identity proof Affidavit 2. Police Complaint / FIR If the medical negligence amounts to a criminal offence (e.g. causing death by negligence – IPC Section 304A), you may: File an online police complaint (in some states): Visit your State Police website (e.g. [https://delhipolice.gov.in](https://delhipolice.gov.in), [https://gujratcidcrime.com](https://gujratcidcrime.com), etc.) Look for “Lodge Complaint” or “e-FIR” sections 3. National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) For serious human rights violations in medical care (especially in government hospitals), you may file a complaint: Online portal: [https://nhrc.nic.in](https://nhrc.nic.in) → Complaints → Online complaint filing 4. Medical Council of India / State Medical Council For action against a doctor’s license due to professional misconduct: File a complaint online on the respective State Medical Council website You may also send an email or use offline complaint procedure as per the State guidelines Important Note: Keep all evidence and documents related to the case: prescriptions, medical bills, diagnostic reports, doctor's opinions, death certificate (if applicable), etc.

Dear Client, It is possible to file a complaint online in India under the RTI Act. You can file a complaint through the Central Information Commissions (CIC) online portal if your information request was not handled appropriately. There are comparable online resources available from numerous State Information Commissions. In order to file online you must provide your information on the complaint form, clearly explain the problem in accordance with Section 18 of the RTI Act and affix copies of your RTI application any response you received and any additional supporting documentation. You are given a registration number to monitor the progress of your complaint after it has been submitted. Whether a complaint is made online or offline there is no cost. I hope this answer helps. In case of future queries, please feel free to contact us. Thank you.
