Dear Client, It is possible to file a complaint online in India under the RTI Act. You can file a complaint through the Central Information Commissions (CIC) online portal if your information request was not handled appropriately. There are comparable online resources available from numerous State Information Commissions. In order to file online you must provide your information on the complaint form, clearly explain the problem in accordance with Section 18 of the RTI Act and affix copies of your RTI application any response you received and any additional supporting documentation. You are given a registration number to monitor the progress of your complaint after it has been submitted. Whether a complaint is made online or offline there is no cost. I hope this answer helps.
