Dear Client, it is considered as an official government publication that is used to legally record the changes like name changes, personal details or any official matters in India. Once it is published, it becomes valid legal proof, and it is accepted by the government and private authorities as a legal document. Dear client, A Gazette Notification is a legal document, published in the Official Gazette by Central Government or State Government (Each state has a different normal printing service) as a public notice. This means that the changes in law, appointments, or the enactment of a new law of change of custom has been announced in the Official Gazette, which is the official legal publication issued by the Government every week. In case of law (new or amended), ruling, appointment, or change of name, date of birth, it is considered as a conclusive proof of such changes by a court of law as well as by banks, departments of the government, and institutions. For any change of name after marriage or divorce or due to any other reason, a Gazette Notification is the most common document used. A Gazette Notification is also required to update a person's name or change the name in case of any misspelling on any documents. A Gazette Notification is issued through the Department of Publication in New Delhi under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, and may be published in the state gazettes as a State Gazette for all the States of India. The gazette notification is usually required while updating a person's new or amended name in Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Passport, educational certificates, and multitude of documents. This is not mandatory but necessary to be self-proved in many cases of government and private institutions.
