भारत में, दो प्रकार के कोर्ट विवाह हैं: 1. विशेष विवाह अधिनियम, 1954 के तहत विवाह सिविल विवाह: यह एक सिविल विवाह है जो विभिन्न धर्मों या समुदायों के व्यक्तियों को बिना धर्म परिवर्तन किए विवाह करने की अनुमति देता है। प्रक्रिया: पंजीकरण के लिए आवेदन करना, नोटिस प्रकाशित करना और रजिस्ट्रार की उपस्थिति में विवाह संपन्न कराना शामिल है। 2. हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम, 1955 के तहत विवाह धार्मिक विवाह: यह विशेष रूप से हिंदुओं पर लागू होता है और हिंदू रीति-रिवाजों और प्रथाओं के अनुसार कोर्ट विवाह की अनुमति देता है। प्रक्रिया: आपसी सहमति की घोषणा की आवश्यकता होती है, जिसके बाद अक्सर एक औपचारिक पहलू होता है, लेकिन अदालत में पंजीकृत होता है। दोनों प्रकार कानूनी रूप से वैध हैं और विवाह को औपचारिक मान्यता प्रदान करते हैं।
