Why aren’t parking charges standardized in apartments?

Suppose an apartment complex in a metro city offers underground parking at a cost of ₹1,500 per month, while a similar complex in a suburban area offers open parking for ₹500 per month. The cost difference is largely due to the fact that the metro city complex has limited space and a more premium type of parking, whereas the suburban complex has a surplus of land and basic open parking.

However, if the suburban complex were also offering premium amenities like electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and security services, the parking charges could be closer to those of the metro city complex.

In such cases, having guidelines for reasonable charges based on parking type, location, and amenities could help maintain a fair pricing structure for residents while considering local circumstances.
