Yes, you can file a case against your college if they are not providing you with your graduation and completion certificate even after completion of your degree. You have a right to obtain these certificates from the college as they are essential for pursuing higher education or applying for jobs. Here are the steps you can take to file a case against your college: Send a legal notice: Before filing a case, you can send a legal notice to your college, stating your grievances and demanding the certificates. The notice should give the college a deadline to respond and provide the certificates. File a complaint with the University: If the college does not respond to the legal notice or refuses to provide the certificates, you can file a complaint with the University. The University may have a Grievance Redressal Cell or an Ombudsman to address such complaints. File a case in the court: If the University also fails to resolve the issue, you can file a case against the college in the civil court. You will need to provide evidence such as your degree certificate, admission details, and communication with the college to support your case. It is important to note that filing a case can be a lengthy and expensive process. Before taking legal action, you may want to consider other options such as seeking help from student associations or approaching higher authorities in the college or University. You may also want to consult with a lawyer who specializes in education law to guide you through the legal process.
