In motor accident cases, the compensation for emotional distress can be claimed before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) for various reasons like – mental suffering, trauma, and loss of enjoyment of life as part of damages. For this, you must be able to show evidence of some actual harm, may it be psychological or emotional.
